New Daily Radio Feature Launched on 1,000 Stations

PHOENIX, AZ (IFP News) - Swiss America Trading Corporation today launched a new two-minute radio feature The History of Your Money narrated by CEO, Craig R. Smith.

The History of Your Money will focus on helping Americans to better understand our unique monetary system. It will feature the stories behind the headlines like, "Why is the dollar falling?" as well as stories that rarely make headlines like, "Secrets of famous American coin collectors." (CRS articles)

"Money is perhaps the most talked about subject, yet the least understood," says Mr. Smith. Craig sums up the average American's knowledge of money by quoting President John Adams, "All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise...from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation."

Mr. Smith is not meek at the mic, as a frequent guest on radio and TV commenting on financial news and gold coins. (interview topics). The History of Your Money will draw from Craig Smith's 25-year background in business, finance, free market economics and numismatic coins. (bio)

"History is full of great examples of why America's money system has been the envy of the world, but that all began to change, starting in 1965 when we abandoned gold and silver coinage as our money. My goal is to bring historical nuggets of truth to the radio audience in a way that is educational, entertaining and motivational," says Smith.

The History of Your Money airs on over 1,000 radio stations nationwide Monday through Fridays between 12-5pm (ET) on music format stations - ranging from adult contemporary to jazz to country - as well as many news, talk and financial formats.
