This Historical Inflation Calculator will calculate the amount of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) price inflation between any two dates from 1913 up to the latest month reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Please Note: These stats are official government calculations of cost of living adjustments. The actual rate of "real world" inflation is estimated to be much higher. For example, in 2010 the official CPI was near 2%, yet alternative inflation indexes report that the actual inflation rate is almost 10%.
